Your comment preview and CSV download appear here.
Open the video you want to review and copy its link. Make sure it is a public TikTok video with accessible comments.
Add the video URL to Hookest’s TikTok Comment Exporter and select Export Comments. Wait for the available comments to be collected.
Download your CSV file and open it in your preferred spreadsheet application. Group the comments by topic and highlight questions or feedback that deserve a closer look.

Use Hookest’s TikTok Comment Exporter to collect available comments from a public video and save them in a CSV file. Open the export in Excel or Google Sheets to group questions, compare reactions, and identify topics your audience wants explained.
Connect those findings with your creative process using Hookest. A repeated question or product concern can become the starting point for a more useful video.
Public TikTok Video Links. Start with the video URL of the post you want to review. Choose a video relevant to your product, niche, or research question.
Review and Filter Comments. Organize the exported comment text in your spreadsheet. Search for product names, group similar questions, or separate feedback into topics that are useful to your team.
The export brings available TikTok comments into a structured file for review. Each row should keep the comment connected to its source and any supporting details included in the export.
The identifier associated with the comment.
The collected comment text.
The available like count when collected.
The available reply count, distinct from the reply text.
The timestamp associated with the comment.
The commenter’s public username.
The source video for the exported comment.
The workflow is intended for comments accessible on public videos.
A downloaded file should not automatically be treated as the complete conversation.
Comments and engagement can change after an export is created.
A reply count does not mean the individual reply texts are included.
A free account exports the first 150 comments on a video, and Pro exports up to 1,000 comments. Exports include reply counts but not reply text. A free account includes 1 export on this tool and Pro includes 5 a day. Opening a video you already exported, or one saved in the last 7 days with enough comments for your plan, does not use a run.
Use the CSV file in Excel or Google Sheets to sort your findings and add notes. Keep the original export alongside your working copy so you can refer back to the collected data.
Choose a question that appears repeatedly and build a clear answer around it. Explore UGC Examples for demonstration formats, then use Hookest to find an opening that fits your message.
Yes, with a free Hookest account. A free account includes 1 export on this tool, and Hookest Pro includes 5 exports a day. Opening a video you already exported does not use a run. If a video was exported in the last 7 days with enough comments for your plan, you get that saved export and it does not use a run either.
A free account exports the first 150 comments on a video, and Hookest Pro exports up to 1,000 comments, in the order TikTok returns them. On videos with more comments than that, the file is a sample of the conversation rather than every comment. The result shows how many comments were collected next to the total on the video.
The exported file may represent only part of the conversation. Collection limits and comment availability can affect the results. Check the export count and whether individual replies are included before comparing it with the total shown on the video.
The export includes each comment’s reply count, not the text of the replies. Replies are not added as separate rows, so the number of rows can be lower than the comment total TikTok shows, which also counts replies.
You can review the comment text and group responses into positive, neutral, or negative categories in your spreadsheet. Read comments in context, especially when they contain jokes, sarcasm, or short reactions. This manual review is separate from any automated sentiment analysis feature.
The tool is designed to work with conversations available on public TikTok videos. It does not provide a way to reveal private or hidden discussions. Use a publicly accessible source video when starting an export.
A CSV file can be imported into Excel or Google Sheets for review. If the data appears in one column, check the delimiter settings during import. Review text encoding if emojis or non-Latin characters do not display as expected.
This workflow is intended for publicly accessible videos. A private video is outside that scope. Choose a public video whose comments are available to view.
Treat each export as a snapshot rather than a live record. New comments and changes to engagement may not appear in a file you already downloaded. Check the collection date and the tool’s refresh policy when comparing exports.
