We collect the information you give us directly — such as your email address, your display name, and your language preference — together with the hooks you choose to save and the categories you select for the newsletter. Standard technical data such as your IP address and browser type is recorded automatically when you use the Service.

3. Newsletter & Consent
The weekly email is sent only if you ask for it. To be able to show that a subscription was genuinely requested, we record when you subscribed along with basic technical details of that request. Every email contains a one-click unsubscribe link that works immediately.

Traffic is encrypted in transit and passwords are stored only in hashed form, so we can neither see nor recover them. Access is restricted so that one account cannot reach another account's data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and if a breach ever affects your data we will notify you as required by law.
10. Children
Hookest is built for advertisers and content professionals and is not directed at children. Please do not create an account if you are under 16. If we learn that we hold data about a child, we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date above always reflects the current version, and we will tell you about significant changes rather than relying on you to notice them.
